It seems that every retail company in the world has the same mission statement, the same declaration of intent to compete and maximize profit. Whether written or unwritten, the goal of 98% of all members of the U.S. retail industry, from Best Buy, to Target, to Apple, is to dominate their category and create profits; but within each one’s individual style of business.

Let’s recall for example, Steve Jobs and his famous quote holding Apple’s statement in the 80's: "Man is the creator of change in this world. As such he should be above systems and structures, and not subordinate to them."
