TALKING ABOUT GROTTINI, RETAIL AND ENVIRONMENTS
The innovative concept store Dr Fleming, designed by Alessandro Luciani and developed by Grottini Retail Environments, received the prestigious "International Store Design Awards 2015" at the annual International Store Design Awards Gala. This event, organized by the Retail Design Institute, ended last Monday, January 12 and hosted the most important retailers worldwide. For years, the New York Chapter of the Retail Design Institute has been a benchmark for innovation and new trends, developing innovative programs in the retail sector.
Furthermore, Dr Fleming was awarded with the "Premio Nazionale per l'Innovazione" - National Innovation Award (also known as "Premio dei Premi" - Price of Prizes) in the "Service Design" category. This prestigious award was established by the Presidency of the Italian Council of Ministers and the ceremony was held in Rome last September in the presence of Stefania Giannini, Minister of University, Education and Research.
Alessandro Luciani, the designer of the awarded project Dr Fleming states «I am deeply honored to receive this important award because it shows how retail design is relevant as driver for the business world. A store able to convey its brand identity, engage potential consumers and excite them, will certainly boost its overall sales volume and company performances».
In addition to these awards, there are also several other rewards conferred on Dr Fleming store by the retail and design world. In 2014 Dr Fleming was awarded with the prestigious "Golden A' Design Award" by the A' Design Award international jury and at the Italian Popai Award 2014 it won three awards: "Store- Retail", "Critics" and "Best in Show" Awards. The innovative Dr Fleming concept store has also been selected as finalist in the World Retail Awards for "Best New Retail Concept of the Year" category.
